Very hazy these few days. Not advisable to stay outdoors. Right now, beside the windows, I can see how hazy it is. Yesterday, the news reported that the PSI reading has reached 80. The highest PSI reading since 1997. In 1997, the highest three-hour-average pollution reading ever recorded in Singapore was 226 in 1997. The highest daily 24-hour average was 142 recorded in 1994. And today? Worse. Singapore's three-hour-average pollution index peaked at 130 at 10am this morning. The 3-hours PSI first entered the unhealthy range at 8am on Saturday morning, with a PSI reading of 101. The fog-like haze carried with it a burning smell. Singapore's air quality dropped back into the moderate range with 3-hour PSI of 80 at 4pm. But I guess the PSI reading is going back to the unhealthy range soon. From the NEA website, it shows that the PSI is 86 at 5pm and 98 at 6pm. And i think it is getting more serious. I have just closed my windows, as I just can't stand the burning smell. "The smoke haze situation has deteriorated overnight. The prevailing winds have remained southerly to southwesterly overnight and they have brought smoke haze from southern Sumatra to Singapore," a statement from the city-state's environment agency said. Haix. Hope that the haze will reduce back to healthy range which is less than 50. And the haze has made my skin very sensitive recently. Go away, haze!!!

And, I heard from the radio 2 days ago that the moon should be very round and bright for this year mooncake festival. The DJ said that this year the moon is the closest to the earth for the past 9 years. I was so excited to get a glimpse of the bright moon last night. But the haze prevented me from seeing the moon. Disappointed. =(

Just to remind you all. Take good care of your health. Drink more PLAIN water. See a doctor if you are not feeling well. The air quality is not very good recently. Many of the people I know have fallen sick or get cough. Stay indoors whenever you can. Remember that falling sick is not a good thing!!! Take care. =)
