Hi All 2nd Year DCNT Students,You would have noticed by now that you are no longer in the same class as your friends. The reason behind this is that all of you have been redistributed. This will allow a chance for you to mix with students from other countries, such as China, Vietnam, and etc.
There are 16 students from HUST (Huazhong University of Science & Technology) which joined us last semester as direct entry to 2nd year. They have been kept in a group for 1 semester due to the curriculum changes, this semester they have been distributed to different classes.
Well, that being said. I hope there will not be any more requests for change of classes. I hereby wishes all of you a new and happy acad year ahead and hope you will work hard and do well. All the best and good luck! Have a nice day!

Yes. I agree with it. What are the school trying to do by reshuffling the students? To allow us to mix with the foreign students? I think this reason seems quite ridiculous. I feel that the school didn't think of the negative side of reshuffling. They only consider about the positive side which is to allow us to learn their cultures and languages. We took a year to build up a strong bond among our classmates. And just one statement, the school expects us to be apart from our classmates. We do alot of things together, study, play, laugh together. Some of them even help me when I have any problems or when I was down. I appreciate the school's effort for this arrangement. I am also willing to know these foreigners, but I hope it is not through this arrangement. It has only caused me to resent the school and foreigners. At first, I really look forward to the 17 of April because I will be able to see my classmates again. But after I knew that I was posted to the other class, I just hope that the day just don't come so soon. I really hope that the school can consider about the matter. Is it really benefical to the student? Does the school still insist on reshuffling? If after seeing all these replies, the school still insists that it is benefical to us, I will like to ask the school, are you trying to lie to yourself? I can see that most of the DCNT students are against this arrangement. If you are not affected by all these, I really have nothing to say. Really nothing to say.

I would just like to ask a few question and say some words.
Firstly, what is the orientation that we had in the first year for? Why do we have to start knowing each other's name before the commencement of school? If class is being reshuffled, does that mean that we are going to have another orientation? Lastly, why do we had to put in the little bit of effort to organise class gatherings?
We had a year of education together as a class. We did all sorts of smart, silly, funny, crazy things together. We were total strangers at the start and we finally became a class in the later part. I would not say that my whole class is very bonded together but at least we do have our class spirit.
Now because of one sentence. 'allow a chance for you to mix with students from other countries'. It made what we had built up for the past year gone to waste. All the time spent during lesson. All the time spent out of lesson.
I sincerely appreciate YOUR efforts in making OUR efforts go to waste.
